Did you guys see the William Lane Craig and Gavin Ortlund discussion on the Eucharist? I’d love to see an episode about that. I think Craig is correct when he says there’s basically no difference between the “spiritual presence” view and the Zwingli metaphorical view. Gavin actually brings up the question about whether or not the presence of Christ in the Eucharist is any different or any more special than His presence when two or three are gathered. Craig says no, and Gavin says yes but doesn’t seem to articulate it very well. At least not to my satisfaction.
